If in winter, with its over 50 km of ski slopes, Abetone offers many opportunities for ski lovers, it is in the other seasons of the year that the beauty of our mountains strikes us with explosions of perfumes and colours. The nature reserves, parks, botanical gardens and trekking routes offer opportunities to experience strong emotion, such as the sudden encounter with a roe deer in the forest, or a marmot, a mouflon and the royal eagle, if we have the boldness to venture up on the rises.

But Abetone is also a preferred area for mushroom picking, thanks to the great variety of them that grow in the fir and alder forests.
